Trends Studies go further than the normal scope of marketing, culture, communication, fashion, sociology, economics and market studies. Our goal is to understand the nature of desires, preferences, and behavioural and consumption patterns. In this course, students will develop their knowledge and skills in order to: employ trends when developing brands, assessing whether these can resist the future; understand current forces of convergence and deviation so as to create forms of communication based on interactivity and narrative; apply Cool Hunting and trend analysis methodologies, identifying business opportunities; observe potential developments in concepts and social and consumption behaviour patterns.
