Innovation and modernization of adult training processes, mobilizing digital technologies and new forms of socio-educational interaction, are decisive for the increase and the improvement of professional qualifications of the adult population in Portugal, where rates are still below European averages, with the well-known consequences on competitiveness, cohesion and well-being in Portuguese society. This strategic and operational inclusion of the potential of digital technologies for adult learning should be achieved both from the perspective of organizations and of citizens' self-development. In this context, the course is aimed at professionals who make up the technical pedagogical teams responsible for training adults (education and training managers and coordinators, trainers and mediators), and aims to develop skills in the use of ICT tools, and digital means and resources, in the context of innovative education and training processes, and aiming the development of adults’ autonomy in life-long learning activities.
