The Master of Information and Documentation Science is a course of 2. Cycle that follows the old course of Specialization in Information Science, aims to provide specialized training in the areas of Library and Archives. The range of courses covers the most important elements of a considered adequate training, covering the areas of Librarianship and information science and Archives management, with special reference to management of computer systems, and the Management Services and Systems and Documentation information. Other subjects provide essential training, since knowledge of palaeography and diplomatic, the subject of the manuscript and the printed history, to notions of legal content and conservation and restoration of documents.
