The PhD in Education course in its various specialties was designed to respond to a wide variety of skills and provide a set of analytical strategies and conceptual tools fundamental to the theoretical, methodological and empirical understanding of educational phenomena at the local, national and international scale of in order to ensure a rigorous intervention, responding effectively to the new opportunities and demands of the national and community market.
a) Demonstrate systematic knowledge in one of the areas of Education (Analysis and Organization of Education Situations, Training Systems, and Organization and Development of Education Systems) and master the models, methodologies and research techniques associated with that area;
b) Demonstrate the ability to conceive, design and carry out significant and innovative research in Education;
c) Produce, through original research, a contribution that expands the frontier of knowledge in Education, and that is recognized by the publication of the results of this research in international peer-reviewed journals;
d) Present skills that allow their integration in different professional or academic contexts as promoters of progress and holders of high specialization;
e) Communicate with their peers, and with society in general about their area of expertise, and to promote, in academic and professional contexts, scientific, social and cultural advancement in a knowledge-based society.
